An Analysis of English-Speaking Anxiety of University Students in Nangarhar, Afghanistan

The present study focuses on the anxiety level of undergraduates enrolled in private universities Nangarhar, Afghanistan. used a survey descriptive design for data collection from sample two hundred students four selected through non-random convenient sampling technique. was collected Likert Scale adapted Horwitz & Cope (1986). analyzed SPSS, while difference between groups t-test. found that communication apprehension, fear negative evaluation and test were causing among students. Furthermore, no significant male female participants apprehension evaluation. Moreover, out because more anxious than about their performance tests. findings suggest English speaking is serious issue has to be addressed its occurrence influences students’ term using skills foreign language.
